Day one of my weight loss journey...

For breakfast this morning, I had a cup of Special K dry. "Dry?" you say. Yes, that is exactly what I said, I ate it dry. The reasons are twofold:

  1. as I am eating my breakfast in the office, I often get interrupted and therefore, the  cereal would lose, as Sheldon would put it "all its molecualr integrity" and I would be left with a bowl of mush; and
  2. I find the Special K quite tasteless when I have it with milk. When I am eating it as a crunchy snack though, it is a bit sweeter and therefore, I don't feel like I'm just crunching on horsefeed.
And the milk that I would have had in my cereal can go into my protein shake for a snack later! Hurrah!
